Incorrect spelling of name in template title[edit]

The correct title of this template is the Aberystwith & Welsh Coast Railway not the Aberystwyth and Welsh Coast Railway.

Stations added later[edit]

How should the stations added after the company be portrayed? They shouldn't be presented in the same style as the original stations, as they weren't around at the time the Aberystwith and Welsh Coast Railway Company was in existence. However it feels strange to remove them entirely, but to keep the Porthdinllaen extension, which was never built, but obviously intended to be. For the stations where the line they lie on was also built later, those between Barmouth and Pwllheli and those on the Glandovey Deviation, an answer is fairly easy: using the 'L...' style icons, as used for the Porthdinllaen extension. However, for the others, including Aberdovey (non-harbour) and Glandovey Junction at each end of the Glandovey Deviation, I have no idea.

As far as I can tell, the affected stations are:

Track and station built later:
  • Pwllheli–Barmouth (inclusive)
  • Penheilig–Gogarth (inclusive)
Station built later:
  • Arthog
  • Llangelynin
  • Tonfanau
  • Aberdovey (non-harbour)
  • Glandovey Junction

I would appreciate any views or suggestions on the matter. WT79 (speak to me | editing patterns | what I been doing) 21:00, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pinging possibly interested users @Pencefn, Steamybrian2, Psulagain, and Xenophon Philosopher:.
Also, there is Fairbourne, which is on the same site as, but in a way not the same station as, Barmouth Ferry, the temporary terminus whilst Barmouth Bridge was being built. I have not changed this in the template, with this discussion in progress, but it should be considered as well. Since it was queries originally raised by me, I will take a back seat over this matter in order that other named constributors can express their views on the said matter.

@Xenophon Philosopher: it was queries originally raised by me Where have you originally raised these queries? WT79 (speak to me | editing patterns | what I been doing) 11:46, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Poor generalisation on my part. If you recall, it was the spelling of the word of the town in the title of this railway which was the subject of earlier discissions and not what is the raison d'etre of this current discussion. My apologies to all concerned.
