Other Years

There should be another template that has links to each year, as eventually this will/should cover every year of every team. I already have created 2005-06 Vancouver Canucks season, only because I hate how the Canucks are doing this year, and haven't been able to follow them as well as previous years. That was my thought as well. I started with the 2006-07 template so it could be put on the 2006-07 NHL season article in the hopes that others would pick up on open teams for this year. Resolute 14:26, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

I would love to see more season by season templates. I think it is said that they will continue from now on, but we should get some going for past seasons. Jmlk17 03:43, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

I've created {{2005-06 NHL season by team}}, but outside of that, there is no other season with more than two season articles. Once I complete the last eleven Flames articles, I will probably start moving back in time, anything left for 2005-06, then 2004-05, etc. That is extremely long term though, unless others pick up historical seasons for their teams.
