This template creates a userbox that identifies you as a recipient of a United States Armed Forces Commendation Medal.

Use

To use this userbox template, place the following Wikitext on your user page:

{{User Com Medal|branch|service|nsub|nocat=}}

where:

• branch is the optional military branch:
  • JS = in joint service of the United States Armed Forces.
  • USAF = United States Air Force.
  • USA = United States Army. (default)
  • USCG = United States Coast Guard.
  • USMC = United States Marine Corps.
  • USN = United States Navy.
• service is the optional service recognized:
  • merit = for meritorious service. (default)
  • valor = for valor.
• nsub is the optional number of subsequent decorations. (default = 0)
• nocat= is the optional category parameter:
  • nocat=false — Include the user page in the relevant category shown below. (default)
  • nocat=true — Do not declare a category.
