  • Trying to supply a translation, a link to the Gospel text (which would be way too long to be included):
ALT1:... that Bach finished the opening chorus of his cantata Wer sich selbst erhöhet, der soll erniedriget werden, BWV 47, with a repeat of the ritornello, adding the complete Gospel text, Luke 14:11? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:49, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
  • Date and length are fine, neutral, well-cited, free of copy vio/plagiarism, no issues. Hook is cited, but is a bit long (at 213 ch. including ellipses and question mark), so I think ALT1 has to be the one used. AGF for offline ref. Also, shouldn't the translation in the lede read "shall be abased?" To my ear, it sounds better. Marrante (talk) 16:14, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
