Profound, well sourced. However, I can't see the first source where I am right now, the one which supports the hook. Also, I only find that statement in the lead, not - as I had hoped - with an explanation in the article. What do you think of mentioning instead the framed "Human beings are more alike than unalike.", clearer to me than "organic unity"? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:11, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the kind words. How about another hook, one that explains things a bit more:
  • "connects them together" is not my favourite expression, what do you think of:

I'm good with that. It's not perfect, but it's an improvement. I can't figure out a way to avoid the passive voice. Your version may be the best we can come up with, considering what we want to convey. Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 19:41, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
