I don't know if the above was supposed to be a review. My version: date, length referencing fine, detailed Polish sources AGF, no apparent copyvio/pl. I am not happy with the hook which is very general and doesn't appear like that in the article. Suggestions to think about:
ALT1: ... that the 1773 French satirical drawing of the First Partition of Poland, The Troelfth Cake (pictured), was banned in several European countries?
