Switzerland and weapons of mass destruction[edit]
- ... that the Swiss government "made detailed plans to acquire and test nuclear weapons during the Cold War"? Source: [1]
- ALT1:... that the Swiss Federal Council "released a public statement in 1958 stating that although a world without nuclear weapons was in Switzerland's interest, its neighboring countries adopting nuclear weapons would force it to do likewise"?
- ALT2:... that Swiss voters twice rejected proposals to ban or create restrictions on the acquirement of nuclear weapons, in April 1962 and May 1963 respectively, when the Swiss government was actively planning the acquisition of nuclear weapons?

Almost there 1990'sguy. I recommend the first hook or ALT 3, but you need a source at the end of the sentence to verify your hook. - @TheGracefulSlick: I added the citation. I also added quotation marks around the hook because I think I phrased the hook better than the intro sentence of the actual article. Does all this work? --1990'sguy (talk) 17:25, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
