  • This is almost good to go. I have verified the hook facts and most of the article content from the German-language sources, which are of high quality. (Unfortunately not all pages were available on the Google Books preview.) I want to make some small tweaks to the article and the hook to make them read better, but I need to give them some thought. In the meantime, could we have references for the following?: Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 13:58, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
  • the hymn is listed in the section Rechtfertigung und Zuversicht as number 346, the song of the week of the 17th Sunday after Trinity. (I can see from ref [2] that it is number 346, but couldn't see any mention of the Sunday it is now associated with. Just an offline reference to the relevant page in the current Ev.Gesangbuch would be fine.)
  • Karl Marx composed in 1948 a motet Such, wer da will, ein ander Ziel.
  • Gustav Gunsenheimer included in 1968 the first stanza to conclude his Evangelienmotette Die Versuchung Jesu.
  • Thank you, will get to it later. Die Versuchung Jesu was on DYK yesterday, still is in German. I can copy the ref there which is the score. I sang it, humming it now ;) - We also sang it at a recent funeral. - Sorry, little time this weekend, but also no rush. (While the other piece had to be yesterday, on the composer's birthday.)
  • Sorry for not signing the above. I got to it now, adding two references and dropping the detail about the current German hymnal which readers interested can find in the German version by Rabanus Flavus,whose work I translated. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:02, 12 March 2016 (UTC)
