... that billionaire businessman Mark Cuban (pictured) funded the operations of the investigative reporting site Sharesleuth by short-selling the companies the site reported on?

Source: "From the beginning, Cuban made it clear he intended to trade on the information uncovered by Carey... Eventually, the pair decided to use the proceeds from the short sales to fund the site.
