New enough (attained Good Article on November 5, nominated 2 days later November 7). At 23,000+ characters I suppose I can grudgingly admit it is long enough. The article is written in a neutral manner, and each paragraph contains multiple inline citations. No copyright issues detected. Hook is within format guidelines, is interesting, and is directly cited by offline sources, which are accepted in good faith. At time of nomination, QPQ was not required as this is not a self-nomination. Image is in public domain, and is intriguing as a thumbnail.
