Procerodes littoralis[edit]

  • ... that the flatworm Procerodes littoralis is tolerant of wide fluctuations in salinity and occurs in bays and estuaries, and where freshwater streams flow across the beach?

  • - @Cwmhiraeth: The length of the article is good, it is within policy, and has been recently created. QPQ review has also been completed. The problem is, the hook quite honestly seems to tail off at the end; maybe cut the last part and replace it with something else? Maybe, instead of "and occurs...", say ", being able to survive in sea water and fresh water?" This later part is from the paper "The environmental effects of salinity and temperature on the oxygen consumption and total body osmolality of the marine flatworm Procerodes littoralis", and the sentence "These authors showed that P. littoralis was exceptionally tolerant of any short-term salinity change ranging from completely freshwater to undiluted seawater." I can email you the full text of the paper, if you want (email me first). RileyBugz私に叫ぼう私の編集 23:39, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
The article also happens to include its preferred habitat, probably among other interesting things. RileyBugz私に叫ぼう私の編集 23:44, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
@RileyBugz: Thanks for providing the interesting paper. I have added an extra paragraph to the article and am suggesting ALT1 and ALT2. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:05, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
  • ALT1 ... that the flatworm Procerodes littoralis is tolerant of wide fluctuations in salinity and occurs where freshwater streams flow across the beach?
  • ALT2 ... that the flatworm Procerodes littoralis is tolerant of wide fluctuations in salinity, being able to survive in both freshwater and in seawater?
