Philippe Pierlot[edit]

Created by Gerda Arendt (talk). Self-nominated at 16:17, 7 March 2016 (UTC).

  • Long enough, new enough, no copyvios, no policy problems, QPQ done. Hook is not too long, interesting and sourced (though it needs clicking through to [1]). Perhaps change "the viol player" to "viola da gamba player instead? And we can change "founder" to "co-founder" to celebrate an old Wikipedia tradition, but that is entirely optional. Thank you! I am always open for suggestions to improve the language, not being a native speaker of English. I thought "viola da gamba player" was a typical German construction, but if you go for it ... - I don't like any link before the subject, - I guess people who don't know viola da gamba canbe sure to find out cia his article. (I remember passing posters for a concert with VIOLA DA GAMBA, and a shopkeeper asked: What's the name of that girl?)
ALT1: * ... that the viola da gamba player Philippe Pierlot co-founded the Ricercar Consort, and played and conducted rarely heard Baroque cantatas? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:40, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
for ALT1. (Note: I'm not a native English speaker either, so I guess someone will tell us if it isn't the best hook after all) Fram (talk) 08:24, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
