General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - ?
  • Interesting: Yes
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: None required.

Overall: Article was expanded more than fivefold on February 16 and nominated one day later. Length is adequate and the article is neutral in tone. All images used in the article are freely licensed on the Commons, clear at a low resolution and would enhance the hooks. QPQ is not required as the nominator has less than five credits. The article has two citation needed tags to resolve. Also, most of article is cited to a PDF file which is 78 pages in length. Page numbers should be provided when the source document is that large. The majority of the article appears to have been translated from the French wiki, with credits noted in this diff. To my knowledge in this situation, {{Translated page}} should also be added to Talk:Mohawk Island. The article should use {{Convert}} for units. The Earwig tool highlights several areas that could be plagiarism concerns. Please see here for areas that are not proper nouns: "provides a stopover site for migratory birds", "The Herring Gull and Double-crested Cormorant colonies are the largest in the eastern basin of Lake Erie", and "Permitted activities include wildlife viewing, picnicking, recreational fishing from shore and swimming. Entry to the stone lighthouse structures is prohibited at all times". ALT1 needs a citation directly after the sentence which part of the hook as per WP:DYKCRIT. • Thank you for your diligence and suggestions Flibirigit - please let me know if these changes adequately address the issues highlighted. –xenotalk 03:06, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
  • I will look at the changes later today. Flibirigit (talk) 11:14, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
  • Concerns have been resolved for sourcing, paraphrasing, and the translation credit. Units now use the convert template. Each hook is reasonably interesting, properly cited and verified by the source. Nomination now adheres to all DYK criteria. Flibirigit (talk) 15:53, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
