  • It all checks out, long enough, no copyvio, new enough, but I'm not sure about the "singer of the year 2011" in there. Reading the article, it's a "Singer of the Year" award from one magazine. Is there something else we could say rather to either clarify that, or something different? The Rambling Man (talk) 11:12, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
  • I linked the magazine, and added for what. I translated Sänger des Jahres, don't think we can capitilize the translation, but well, the source did. Phrase differently? Expand the Opernwelt article, and make a redirect? It's called the Oscar of opera, which baritones rarely get, and made his career much more international. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:47, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
  • If indeed it's considered "the Oscar of opera" then I would imagine it should have its own article. What about knocking up that and then linking it to "Singer of the Year" in the hook? The Rambling Man (talk) 11:58, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Opera house of the year is within the magazine article, the other could be the same, and very similar, if not the same but for the (so far missing) list of recipients. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:04, 20 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Yes, similar could be done. Even if you're lacking a list of names, a subsection with the title of the award and maybe a cited claim that it's equivalent to an Oscar to give it that gravitas. The Rambling Man (talk) 12:07, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

  • I guess I'd rather drop it completely than giving attention to the magazine even before saying what's great about the singer.
