Itcha Range[edit]
- ... that the Itcha Range in British Columbia, Canada is an inactive shield volcano that formed between 3.8 and 0.8 million years ago?

Article has been expanded almost 10 fold on the 10th and is thus long enough and new enough, good sources, I couldn't check copyvio as I could not access all the sources. The article is interesting and well written, however there are no inline citations in the article lead. In particular the hook which is found word for word in the lead has no references there. The rest of the article is well cited but the content of the hook must be pieced together from the cited bits here and there. Please add inline citations in the lead and in particular concerning the hook and the article will be good to go. Iry-Hor (talk) 20:07, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- It is clear in the main body of the article that volcanic activity produced the Itcha Range between 3.8 and 0.8 million years ago. Volcanoguy 20:14, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
- I am not arguing that this isn't clear, it is only that I would like to see an inline citation for the hook in the lead. Iry-Hor (talk) 20:37, 17 August 2014 (UTC)

- Second paragraph first sentence "In contrast to most mountain ranges in British Columbia, the Itcha Range represents an inactive shield volcano." and toward the end of the 2nd paragraph, "3.8 and 3.0 million years old and thus over two million years ago it passed the most active shield stage of life. A long period of dormancy lasting for almost a million years followed, which was interrupted by the post-shield stage of volcanism 2.2 to 0.8 million years ago."
