Iosif Vulcan[edit]

ALT 1: ... that Iosif Vulcan, a Romanian Austro-Hungarian, belonged to both the Kisfaludy Society in Budapest and the Romanian Academy in Bucharest?

ALT 2: ... that during the Transylvanian Memorandum trial, Romanian Austro-Hungarian Iosif Vulcan wrote a play about Stephen III of Moldavia that premiered in Bucharest?

ALT 3: ... that for about fifteen years, Iosif Vulcan, a resident of Austria-Hungary, attended every regular session of the Romanian Academy?

  • New enough: created on Dec 10 but nominated two days later. Long enough. Well cited throughout. Dispassionate tone. The primary hook is sourced to a reliable English language work, which I've checked out. Quality work. I'm putting AGF only because I can't verify the Romanian sources. I find the primary hook more interesting than the three ALTs. Hybernator (talk) 18:21, 5 January 2014 (UTC)
