Hassan Rouhani's plagiarism allegations[edit]

Created by Mhhossein (talk). Self-nominated at 12:52, 11 September 2017 (UTC).

  • New, long enough, well-sourced, and, importantly, neutral. Hook is punchy, neutral, and intriguing. QPQ ongoing but initiated. Looks good to go for me. Owlsmcgee (talk) 03:57, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
  • This hook seems to run afoul of WP:BLP, saying libelous things about a living person. Yoninah (talk) 20:47, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
Yoninah: Thanks for the note. It's not libelous, since the case is verified by Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi, head of Iranian Parliament's Commission on Education. --Mhhossein talk 02:36, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
I considered this in the review but the allegations are public fact. If the hook had left out "allegedly" I'd have not approved it. Happy to have a third opinion weigh in. Owlsmcgee (talk) 02:41, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
I'm OK with Yoninah's suggestion, i.e. ALT1, although I don't see much difference. @Owlsmcgee: please restore the green tick if you agree with that. --Mhhossein talk 11:41, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
Striking ALT0 and approving ALT1 as discussed above. --Usernameunique (talk) 20:10, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
Good on my end. Owlsmcgee (talk) 03:02, 16 September 2017 (UTC)
Since I just changed "allegedly" to "accused of", I'll go ahead and promote this. Yoninah (talk) 19:56, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
