  • I'll take this one; love GA's work so I'm looking forward to a fun article. ~ Pbritti (talk) 01:41, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
Eh, I'm not really a fan of the hook. It seems way too detailed instead of getting to the point. I think there's potential in the hook fact but it probably needs to be revised somehow. Again, not a fan of the hook as currently written but I do think there might be potential in the fact. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 13:30, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
I agree with Narutolovehinata5 and would add that it's a tad wordy. @Gerda Arendt: maybe you could focus on one aspect of ALT0 in a couple new ALTs, separating his work in media from his ecumenical/inter-religious work? ~ Pbritti (talk) 15:29, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
Please help me understand. His work in the media was for ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue. It's one thing. The Catholic church is not famous for these aspects but he helped to change that a bit. How would you word it? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:36, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
ALT1 ... that as auxiliary bishop of Hamburg, Hans-Jochen Jaschke (pictured) pushed for ecumenism and inter-religious dialogue?
ALT2 ... that as auxiliary bishop of Hamburg, Hans-Jochen Jaschke (pictured) represented the Catholic Church in the media?
ALT3 ... that Hamburg auxiliary bishop Hans-Jochen Jaschke (pictured) represented the Catholic Church in the media as part of his ecumenical work?
@Pbritti: Like these? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 16:02, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Oh excellent I'll look at those. ~ Pbritti (talk) 16:06, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
Thank you, - no time to look, off to a concert, and afterwards many more important things will still be undone, and need my attention ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:14, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
The concert was great!
ALT2: I dislike the word "push" in general, and for a bishop it seems simply not appropriate. That's no from me.
ALT3 is so pale and saying nothing specific that no hook seems better to me than this, sorry. No.
ALT4 is still pale. Better not.
Please let's not forget that just the name of this person on the Main page already attracted interest. This is trying to augment precise knowledge. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:17, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
Not sure what precise knowledge means here but that doesn't matter. The article is great and I verified what I could throughout (I'm not giving this the AGF tick because I have enough comprehension of the German involved). The expansion was more than 5x by my count and comes from sources wholly adequate for a BLP (which still applies here). Requesting that the promoter looks at the licensing behind the original image, though I'm assuming Facebook saying they don't want the photo has little input on whether it can go on the main page. Gerda Arendt: excellent work, as always. Please share more about the concert if you get the chance! ~ Pbritti (talk) 21:58, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
