HMS Basilisk (H11)[edit]

  • ... that the British destroyer HMS Basilisk evacuated a total of 695 men on 31 May 1940 from Dunkirk before she was sunk by German aircraft the next day?

  • Article expanded from 5,088 on 1 December to 9,703 bytes on 6 December, which falls short of fivefold. Hawkeye7 (talk) 19:30, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Five times expansion refers not to file size (which you've listed), but to prose (see here and here). Use of a tool such as User:Shubinator/DYKcheck.js is recommended for determining prose size. In this case, note that a copyvio was removed. Assuming that removal was legitimate, it went from 567 characters of prose to 4227, more than 7x expansion. (Note: I haven't checked anything else on the article.) MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 00:20, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
    • I did use the tool to check it... No worries. Everything else is okay. Offline source accepted in good faith. Hawkeye7 (talk) 01:51, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
