George Huebner[edit]

  • ... that George Huebner was the chief engineer who developed the motor of first car powered with a gas turbine engine that was driven across the United States?

  • In my opinion, the hook makes for difficult reading. I suggest rewording it like below.

  • ALT1 :... that George Huebner is known as the 'father of the automotive gas turbine engine'?

@Crosstemplejay: Withdrew my original hook, as ALT0a is much better worded. Submitted ALT1. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:03, 24 July 2017 (UTC)
New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done. Will leave the closer to choose which hook is better, cant decide. Nice work Doug Coldwell. CrossTemple Jay 08:57, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
