Fay Crocker[edit]

  • ALT1:... that golfer Fay Crocker was the first player from outside the United States to win the U.S. Women's Open?
  • Reviewed: List of Major League Baseball hitters who have batted in 10 runs in one game
  • Comment: There was once an article with this title, but it was deleted a couple of months ago for copyvio. I believe that this qualifies as a new article based on how similar situations have been handled in the past, but if I'm wrong please let me know. If you want a relevant date to run this article, the final round of this year's U.S. Women's Open is scheduled for June 22.

  • You need to do a QPQ review becauses you have had more than five previous DYKs. In other respects, this nomination meets the DYK criteria. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:58, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
  • The QPQ review is already up there, above the comment. Giants2008 (Talk) 17:08, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
  • Indeed you had done the QPQ review. I saw it initially and then I missed it when I was about to give the nomination a tick. This article is new enough and long enough. Both hooks are sourced but I prefer ALT1. I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:28, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
