Nice short bio on solid sources. Imagine the hook without the image, because typically images are rather for longer articles: how about something about his achievements rather than a link to something people may not know? If you want to stick with the quote, it should be said somehow that he said that himself. - In the article, you could do non-specialists a favour by explaining some of the horse terms, beginning with "leading rider" (definition?), later "had two mounts" and "hit the board". Please dab "he" after speaking about his father. Good luck, need sleep. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:17, 19 May 2016 (UTC)
How about
I think tweaking the hook is best. My take is that he's gathered enough awards and high enough standings to be notable, but what's particularly unique or attention-getting about him is his reputation at Churchill. (Something like "DYK that he won the George Woolf award?" is kind of dull. ) I 'll make the other fixes you requested in a moment. Montanabw(talk) 19:15, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
No question about notability. You say the hook is good, I believe you. For me, Churchill is an English politician ;) - If you still hope to have an image on Saturday (while they are already assigned), you'll need to some sort of (pictured), - I think the other one is more attractive in small size, btw. - I'm in the same position: have a good one for Sunday, but they are all full. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:03, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
I made another change to the hook; not a bit deal to me if the picture is there, I just threw one in. The lead image in the article isn't particularly flattering of him, but if you want to swap it, we could. Montanabw(talk) 20:00, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
I forgot to sign, image would be your suggestion, - I have enough other work ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:03, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
