Colophina clematis[edit]
- ... that Colophina clematis was the first species of aphid to have been identified as having a "soldier" caste? Source: "... the discovery of such a caste in the Hemiptera is as recent as 1977. In that year, it was reported from Japan, that the woolly aphid Colophina clematis had a soldier caste."
