Before expansion, the article had 412 characters (73 words) "readable prose size", meaning that a 5x expansion is 2060 characters of readable prose size. The article is now at 1958 characters (323 words) "readable prose size", so it needs 102 characters to be eligible. Alt1 isn't even mentioned in the article! As for the hook, the source indicates that it was only the clock that was warehoused for 29 years (not the clock and bell): "To start, the clock is much older than its house. Built in 1880...it was shipped around the horn to Seattle, but no buyer waited there to claim it, Jones said. So the clock sat on the dock for 29 years, until courthouse architect Francis Grant found it — and sold it to Clallam County for $5,115. When the courthouse was completed...the builders connected a 4-foot-tall, 2,000-pound bell to the clock." Otherwise, the article is in good shape (referenced, no copyvios) and this appears to be the nominator's first DYK nominee (no results from QPQ check tool), so the lack of a QPQ is not a problem. - Thank you for your review. I've addressed your suggestions as follows: 1) I've slightly expanded the article (I was able to find a few more interesting bits of information to add in), 2) I clarified that the bell wasn't what sat on the docks for 29 years, and 3) added a sentence about Alt1 (the clock/bell tower on the county seal).
