[Al-Jahith's Treasury] works on the principle of lending: you choose the book you want to read, you pay for it, and you return it. After finishing the book you recover the price of the book, except one dinar for the loan.

The article is new enough, long enough, its content looks OK, it is certainly interesting, and the references check out (at least as far as I can make out from Google Translate, although al-Jahiz's fate is certainly well known either way). The image selected for the hook seems fine, but some of the others miss information, and have been tagged accordingly. Ideally, they should be corrected, but I am aware of no rules that would make this an obstacle. QPQ appears unnecessary. I think the original hook is catchier, and is a damn good name for a bookshop. @Alanelbaum and Nickknack00: One of the rules of DYK is that each paragraph should have at least one citation. At the moment, the "History" section and the first paragraph of "The Current Generation" are entirely unreferenced. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:32, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Cwmhiraeth: I saw that too, but the unreferenced paragraphs in the beginning of the "History" section simply summarize the (referenced) sections below, and the first paragraph of "The Current Generation" is mostly a list of localities, so I let it slide.
