  • : The article is long and new enough. It's well written, verifiable and neutral. The hook is also interesting and a citation is pasted immediately after it. The hook is supported by the p. 175 of this source. I also checked the copyright status of the photos and it seemed that there were no problem with them. The only thing which should be addressed is the possibility of Copyvio as this tools suggest. Also, for the convenience of the readers, I suggest the following hook:
ALT1:... that the Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra (pictured) mosque in India was constructed on the remains of a Sanskrit college? --Mhhossein (talk) 17:45, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
@Mhhossein: Thanks for the review. The "copyvios" reported by the tools are three quotes, that are marked as such:
  • Alexander Cunningham: "In boldness of design, and grandeur of conception..."
  • James Fergusson: "As examples of surface-decoration, these two..."
  • James Tod: "one of the most perfect..."
All the 3 sources are in public domain, and anyway, a 1-2 sentence quote attributed to the source is not considered copyright violation.
I'm OK with the alternative hook suggested by you. Looks good, thanks. utcursch | talk 19:15, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
You are right about the quotes, I had to check it during my review. Anyway, I think there are still some points about the sources which you should address; some of the materials are not supported by the sources (for example "...and further beautified by Iltutmish of Delhi in 1213 CE" is not supported by [1] or [2] (?), while it is almost supported by [3]). Address similar cases in your article and get sure that all the materials are in accordance with the sources. By the way, I inserted "(pictured)" into the hook. Mhhossein (talk) 05:30, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
@Mhhossein: The sentence "further beautified by Iltutmish" in Delhi is just a summary of the content in the section Adhai_Din_Ka_Jhonpra#Conversion_into_a_mosque. In that section, it is supported by [4]. In accordance with WP:WHENNOTCITE, sentences in the intro don't need to have citations, if they're a summary of the content in the body. As that guideline says, controversial statements need to be cited even in the lead; for that reason, I've provided a citation for "destroyed Hindu and Jain temples". utcursch | talk 12:01, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
But the way you have cited to the sources in the lead is confusing. I see no other problems any way. Mhhossein (talk) 05:49, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
@Mhhossein: OK, I've included citations for other sentences in the lead now. utcursch | talk 17:36, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
  • : Every thing is alright and QPQ is also done. Good to go with ALT1. Mhhossein (talk) 05:43, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
