Need experienced DYK editor or admin to weigh in on the license of the image of this living person. It's a frame capture from a NASA video. Maile66 (talk) 16:29, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

I've become somewhat versed in NASA licensing recently. The image is taken directly from NASA JPL website. Related documents are JPL image/video policy and Wikilegal/NASA images. All indications are this image complies with the PD-USGov-NASA + Personality rights templates. Note that the image has a "©NASA" meaning there are no third parties it is a NASA owned image (see documents above for significance of being in the Public Domain). The only other issue is the JPL policy about pictures of people, which is handled through the "Personality rights" template (discussed here). If you have any concerns let me know, thanks.
