As first attempts go, this is excellent. If you look at my edit, I made some formatting changes, and included links to other relevant articles. Still needed is to include this article in Wikipedia:Categories. You might want to explore Category:Art to discover which categories this article belongs in. It probably belongs in Category:Mosaics and Category:Islamic art, or subcategories of them, for example. The trickiest thing to get the hang of is the Wikipedia referencing system. You can read about it at m:Cite.php, but you may want to look at the raw wiki-code in some article that has footnotes to see for yourself how it is done. Many thanks. I will study the formats you have entried and adopt this system. This was just the sort of example I needed.
