Hi, I wanted to add models to the models listed and remove models that were no longer in production as well as discuss something that appears to have been addressed back in 2018 regarding the quality section. First of all, the FXS isn't made anymore and the page doesn't mention the FXE, DS, DSR, or the new ADV bike, the DSR/X. Second is that the "supporting articles" on the Hong Kong story openly acknowledge the fire wasn't caused by the bike (it was behaving normally) but by a short circuit. This is actually pretty common when people put EV's into outlets that can't support them or, more common when they use cables that aren't like the durable EVSC's provided by many manufacturers that are capable of handling the heavy flow of current. There are other blatantly editorialized elements of that section that I can get into but my main issue is, why is it when I made those edits (and linked to credible, thrid party sources in the content) they were summarily deleted before publishing? What's the point of community moderation if these demonstrable errors in the page aren't allowed to be corrected? You have some good questions and I had a chance to look at the history of edits. First, edits regarding old or new models need to be cited. So there needs to be a citation essentially for each model added or removed. If you find a reliable news source that highlights all of the models that have updated or removed you would just need that one source, however, more likely you will need different sources for each of those specific changes. Regarding the section on Quality issues, you removed the entire section instead of adding the point you were trying to make with the citation. The section that was deleted still contained information that was helpful regarding recall information. For the section you added on Industry Leadership, that section sounded too promotional. Also in that section that you created you used direct links instead of the Cite Web template which is more helpful. Regarding the 'Quality and service issues' section[edit]
I did a closer review of the information in this section and realized that the information does not connect correctly. A misleading tag has been added. The section starts with the word "All" which is a big flag. The service issues seem to be isolated and the section seems to exaggerate some of the recall issues that were had which are not unique to just this manufacturer. The information is also not current, one of the links is offline, and another area of this small section discusses lawsuit(s). There is a lot to unpack for accuracy, but the section needs to be rewritten completely and be more balanced. Adam MLIS (talk) 01:16, 1 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
