Copy edit and tone[edit]

User:Sigehelmus has tagged this article for copy editing and tone, as well as asking for elucidation in the first sentence. I have attempted to address the last item, although it was not entirely clear if this referred to the dates of composition, or to the general characterisation of being for "five woodwind instruments" (both of which were already thoroughly covered in the body of the article, I think). Perhaps there are none so blind as those who have actually written the prose being criticised, but after reviewing Wikipedia's guide to writing better articles, as suggestion in the "tone" box, I fail to see anything in the article that does not meet those guidelines. For this and, similarly, for the "copy edit" request, I would appreciate specific examples of what Sigehelmus (or other editors) feel need attention.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 18:29, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
