Reagan Revord[edit]
Editors occasionally link to "Reagan Revord" but this is inappropriate and therefor there should be no link to a bio article. WP:REDBIO states "red links can be created to biographies of people who would likely meet Wikipedia's guidelines for notability". However, Reagan Revord was specifically deleted after this AfD discussion that determined the actress was not notable. Therefore, "Reagan Revord" should not be redlinked, which can cause other problems as explained in WP:REDBIO. --AussieLegend (✉) 18:03, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
- Agreed, not appropriate as the article was just deleted in early April 2020. — YoungForever(talk) 18:11, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
The "Reagan Revord" article is currently in my user space at User:Alden_Loveshade/Raegan_Revord. I hope to someday have her article restored to main space. In the meantime, responsible edits are welcomed there. Alden Loveshade (talk) 01:38, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with the above. She has significant coverage in reliable sources now. She has been cast for multiple recurring roles and has done modeling work for magazines. It does not look like there is consensus for removing her external link. Bijdenhandje (talk) 13:02, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- She is likely to meet Wikipedia's guidelines for notability. That she is not yet deemed to do so does not mean she isn't likely to. Do not misconstrue what WP:REDLINK is saying here: your argument is the exact opposite of what WP:REDLINK actually is saying:

This page in a nutshell: Only remove red links if you are certain that Wikipedia should not have an article on that subject. |
And of course Wikipedia should have an article on the sole remaining main cast member of this tv show. Redlinking her name is an excellent usage of red links. CapnZapp (talk) 21:47, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
Main Cast[edit]
Wyatt McClure as Billy Sparks and Matt Hobby as Pastor Jeff Difford were listed in this article as main cast members of Young Sheldon. Their "promotion" had been declared online--by websites that were not part of CBS. But according to CBS which makes the program, the main cast members as of this moment and through season five are Iain Armitage as Sheldon Cooper, Zoe Perry as Mary Tucker Cooper, Lance Barber as George Cooper Sr., Annie Potts as Constance "Connie" Tucker, Montana Jordan as George "Georgie" Cooper Jr., and Raegan Revord as Melissa "Missy" Cooper. That's at https://www.cbs.com/shows/young-sheldon/about/ and at https://www.cbs.com/shows/young-sheldon/cast/
Yes, I know Wikipedia tends to favor secondary sources. But in this case, CBS is the only thing that can decide who's a main cast member or not. If someone has a CBS source that lists the main cast as being different than this, please post. Alden Loveshade (talk) 20:28, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
They are credited as main cast members within the episodes in the episodes they appear in, so they should remain in the main cast section Ribeiromatheusg (talk) 15:32, 18 October 2022 (UTC)
End date[edit]
In the infobox, the end date should stay present until after the finale completes it's broadcast. Cwater1 (talk) 00:01, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
Footnotes in the infobox[edit]
Any reason why we cannot have footnotes in the infobox telling the reader how many episodes the series is expected to eventually air and when the series is expected to conclude? See this version for how it was done (and then deleted [1],[2]). Up the Walls (talk) 02:07, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
