Some things that might improve this article, with references[edit]

In case someone wants to improve this article, here are two printed sources. I learned about this bridge from an article by Dennis Mize in Classic Trains, Fall 2004. Mize's article quotes an article in Trains, January 2004, by David Plowden. Plowden described this bridge as a "little-known masterpiece" and "undoubtedly the most perfect specimen of the 19th century cantilever bridge, as it was never reconstructed or strengthened." Bluegrass Railroad Museum[edit]

The article says that the Bluegrass Railroad Museum hopes some day to restore rail service as far as the eastern end of the bridge. That article says that their excursion train reaches the bridge, apparently from the east. Am I missing something, or is the article behind the times?
