Her given name?[edit]

"She was named "Yootha", an Aboriginal name, after a New Zealand dancer in her father's touring company."

Something's not quite right here. The documentary The Unforgettable Yootha Joyce claims that "Yootha" is the New Zealand Maori word for "joy", which is not correct (the Maori word is koa). It sounds more like an Australian Aborigine name or word... but why would a New Zealand dancer have an Australian Aborigine name? Muzilon (talk) 12:14, 15 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
