Sources[edit]

When I was reviewing this page I was concerned that I couldn't find a single hit on Google outside this article for "Lee Kyu Won", yet there was enough detail to make me feel it wasn't a hoax. Some Googling around turned up the name "Kyu Won Rii" (the hyphen may be a mistake so I hope if so, it will be corrected) and his diary called the "Ulleung-Do Geom-chal-il-gi", I saw enough to tell this was who the article was meant to be about, so I have renamed it and corrected the name in the article, and have categorised/projected it so that rather more capable editors than I should find it and take on improving it. Sounds good. Thanks! Qwyrxian (talk) 05:52, 23 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Coatrack[edit]

This article seems to be about a real historical figure, but it seems like the biographical information is mostly motivated by his relation to the Liancourt rocks dispute a la WP:COATRACK. Chris Quackenbush (talk) 03:03, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is the current lack of sources. I think that if notability can't be demonstrated relatively soon, an AfD may be in order. I think, though, that in some ways the content is bound to reflect the KPOV on Liancourt Rocks, since, well, his account is part of their evidence supporting their ownership of the islands. These are the (possible) sources I found, but as I don't read/understand the language, I can only put them here for consideration:

To confuse matters, I also found a reference to "Yi Ryu-Won" and have realised I had misspelled Ulleungdo in some of my searches - this is another reason why I'm not going to try expanding this article. Mabalu (talk) 15:46, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
