merge any new info from Al-Islah into this article (Yemeni Congregation for Reform)[edit]

Given the common aspects, the lack of much info on a would-be second "al-islah" political party in Yemen, and the fact that the Yemeni Congregation for Reform wikipedia entry presently lists http://www.al-islah.net as the website for the party, it seems to me extremely likely that Al-Islah is the same party, i.e. it's not just an islamist party, it's an islamist/tribal/salafist party.

Done. The only Al-Islah party that got seats in the Yemeni parliamentary election, 2003 was YCR. IMHO it's overwhelmingly obvious that "the Islamist Al-Islah" really refers to the Islamist/tribal-confederacy/Salafist Yemeni Congregation for Reform of which a senior member has stopped wearing her niqāb for 6 years and recommends that other women do the same. i agree that a discussion is not 1 person. So let's see if anyone (including the person making the revert - hi Lihaas :) has any arguments to suggest that there exists an "Al-Islah" Islamist political party in Yemen that is not the same party as the Islamist/tribal/Salafist Yemeni Congregation for Reform party with a senior member who advocates not wearing the niqāb. A single sentence in an Al Jazeera article referring to a political party by this name seems a very weak piece of evidence to claim that the party Al-Islah of-that-one-article exists independently of the YCR that is also called Al-Islah. I speak Arabic. In the website it states that they are "التجمع اليمني للإصلاح", which means Yemeni Congregation for Reform. so yes, they are the SAME people. -- The Egyptian Liberal (talk) 12:04, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

We have had Al-Islah persisting as a hypothetical identical twin of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform for 5 days. IMHO that's enough for any objections against the merge to be stated. If someone later disagrees with The Egyptian Liberal and discovers that there are two well-known Yemeni Al-Islah parties of which Karman is active in both, then a disambig operation should be implemented.
