The "see also" section[edit]

The "see also" section of this page has a problem with accumulating links to random pages about discrimination and racism. This is why the page links to generalized pages on the topic, such as Anti-Asian racism in the United States and Stereotypes of East Asians in the Western world. These articles contain many, many links to further reading about the topic. Readers should be going there, not a "see also" section on this page, to learn about the wider topic. The links also don't need to be "fixed". Per WP:NOTBROKEN, it's OK to link to redirects, and it's even encouraged in some cases. If the redirect becomes an encyclopedia article itself, we want that link to point to it. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:22, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Sublimated Antisemitism" seems off topic[edit]

The entire "sublimated antisemitism" section feels off-topic for this article. The only connection it makes is that both von Ehrenfels and the Freikorps used water metaphors to describe Asians and Jews/Communists respectively, which is a very tenuous connection to make, since using drowning as a metaphor is fairly common and not very notable. The speculation about sexuality and masculinity also comes across as armchair psychology, and the whole thing about the Freikorps wanting to prove themselves as "hard men" against Jews and Communists has absolutely nothing to do with the Yellow Peril. It seems like someone just really wanted to talk about this book, rather than a genuine attempt to add to the article. 2A02:C7C:C8FF:6300:95B8:3F57:E7F1:DADD (talk) 20:01, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree and deleted this very weak speculative section that has not gained support from other reliable sources. A "flood" of trouble is a too common a metaphor to support this speculation. Rjensen (talk) 20:33, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
