Yan Yuan → Yan Yuan (disambiguation) – Yan Hui is WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT for "Yan Yuan" because they are one of the most notable figures in Confucian literature. The other Yan Yuan is rather obscure as is the county. Prisencolin (talk) 22:06, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. No need to position the same individual as two separate primary topics of two separate disambiguation pages. Yan Hui is already the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC of the Yan Hui (disambiguation) page and anyone searching for him under the name Yan Yuan will see his link as the first one at the Yan Yuan dab page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 01:44, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- @Roman Spinner: Isn't not just the other person, there are also two other geographic entries that share the same name. Please understand what the purpose of WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT, it's not enough that it appears as the first entry on the list.
