I'm wondering how Xing can advertise that joining their free service will allow one to "Regain control of your online identity! . . . and get a top position on Google, where you can determine what people see and read about you." How does this work for a professional who already has an on-line presence? Is this advertisement credible? Leishalynn 19:00, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

It should be maybe noted in this wiki article that canceling the openBC/Xing membership is only possible over the "help"-function. Only there a link can be found leading to a cancellation option. This practice is nearly as questionable as the one used for linkedin.com which is also documented the corresponding wiki article.
