What does the name X(3872) mean? RJFJR (talk) 22:41, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- From the article, X is some property descriptor shorthand (potentially X in reference to the unknown nature of the particle), and 3872 appears to be the ceilinged mass/energy of the particle, @ 3871.2 MeV. Adding the energy to the article, as that is at least definite. Eutactic (talk) 01:05, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
