Ghost town?[edit]

I dug up the GNIS entry and added a little information. However, as of right now, I am unable to find a source that refers to this as a ghost town (which is generally the yard stick used to determine if a site should be classified as such). My initial search was a quick one, and I think more searching is in order, but that will be an important step - finding a reliable source that makes this claim, as well as hopefully providing some more background information. No mention of the location in Sherman or Varney that I can see, and a quick Google of "wranglers roost" "ghost town" turned up nothing substantive. Will tag as a ghost town for now, and keep checking. -- Transity(talkcontribs) 16:13, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am officially having trouble finding anything substantive on this place. So far, all I've found is the USGS GNIS entry, which doesn't say very much. Other than that, the stuff I've found is both spotty and unreliable.
[1] - some general map info.
[2] - a real estate listing that mentions the place.
[3] - a gift shop taking this name (I hope the place is more than this).
And, of course, it was the title of a 1941 movie as well ([4]). I still need to check more into what the USGS has on them, but so far, the information is pretty slim. -- Transity(talkcontribs) 23:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
