there a term called 'First Wrangler' at (some?) UK(only?) universities for the top student in Mathematics. Is this used at all universities in the UK? Is this a historical term not used any more?

It's the "Senior Wrangler" and, as far as I know, the term was specific to Cambridge University. See Wrangler (University of Cambridge). Bluap (talk) 22:09, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
