I don't know why they came up this 25th anniversary thing because it's totally inaccurate and it really confused me because I entered my dog in the contest in 1979. Confusing sentence?[edit]

I do not understand this sentence from the current version of the article: "The overall winner for worlds ugliest dog has many names but the total winner is Shubit!!!" Perhaps this needs to be rephrased (or is a typo)? 68.193.180.113 (talk) 06:16, 13 November 2009 (UTC) bryan12603[reply]

Plagiarism[edit]

It appears that at least some plagiarism occurred in the other direction. For instance, the phrase "Scandal erupted during the 2006 World's Ugliest Dog Contest when an as yet unidentified person..." dates back to this edit in May 2006 which cited sources. Note that the samugliestdog.com page has a 2008 copyright date. Perhaps the samugliestdog.com webmaster copy/pasted the text from the English Wikipedia and failed to cite us? --Stepheng3 (talk) 18:09, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

cats are way better than dogs. even ugly cats look less ugly than dogs because cats are born cute and neat. dogs are born wild and they were one day huskies wich were close to being wolves.I knew this info from the encyclopedia book. :D
