There are 51 ballet companies on Wikipedia. Why is everyone targeting this one for deletion prior to it being finished? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Ballet_companies_in_the_United_States

The recurrence of advertising phrasing like "we create inspiring, life-changing experiences through dance"!!!! That is not neutral. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:44, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revisions[edit]

I've been updating the article to address changes in the organization, it's rebranding, spinning off the school to it's own organizations, etc. --Samuronin | Talk 20:22, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've just tightened the article up, removing some of the inappropriate external links, call-outs, and egostroking of donors. I don't think it needs the under-construction tag any more, and it's got appropriate footnotes as well; so I'll remove those tags. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:44, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see Samuronin beat me to it; well done! --Orange Mike | Talk 14:45, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your input orangemike. There are a few points I'd like to address if you'd let me. While I can see where you get the idea that I am egostroking the donors of this organization I assure you I was not. I felt the significance of the donations the companies from which they came contributes to the content of this article. I will make some adjustments in hopes that they are to your liking. --Samuronin (talk) 14:52, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reasoning: I have added back the info on Donor Don Ferguson but it has been significantly edited to avoid any perception of "egostroking." I feel his partnership with the organization is significant to its current development. I have also removed the leftovers of previous edits (random }} symbols and such) to clean up the look of the page. I have also returned a few external links as they are significant aspects of the organization (e.g. the dance school is certified by the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts). --Samuronin (talk) 15:13, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
