According to his index card in the Berlin Document Center, Krull had been a member of the National Socialist Teachers League since August 1, 1933. Membership in the NSDAP was claimed in a "list of politically charged professors and lecturers" at the University of Bonn dated December 1, 1945, but it was not confirmed elsewhere. 84.158.229.14 (talk) 13:51, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In addition the source cited for him not being a member of the Nazi party is not one that is focused on Krull at all, or easy to access. It feels like there may be some strange historical revisionism at play by claiming he was not a member of the Nazi party when it is an important part of his biography. He was a registered member, he participated in arms research, was shortlisted for appointments as a result, and also nearly lost his job post war as a result.
Right now if you google "Was Krull a member of the Nazi party" the quote from this article is the first thing to appear, and from what I can find it is not only inaccurate but revisionist. 38.87.3.236 (talk) 17:23, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
