Re: "Artwork" section: there's a comment on Exclaim's online article in which a commenter purporting to be from the agency which licensed the art says:

"MatthewMoneypenny I'm the CEO of Trunk Archive, the agency that licensed the image to Mr. Greene's label and represents photographer Martien Mulder's archive. I need to clarify several false statements in the article above. The Creative Director of Sub Pop was informed that the image was originally created for an editorial purpose. Sub Pop had every opportunity to acquire exclusive rights to the image for a market correct fee. Instead, Sub Pop elected to license the image on a non-exclusive basis for a nominal fee - with the full knowledge that the image may continue to appear in other contexts. This was made clear in email communications and phone calls with Sub Pop, the invoice for the license and in the agreement their Creative Director clicked before downloading the hi res files. I find it disheartening that Mr. Greene has decided to portray Ms. Mulder in a less than flattering light when in fact his label was well aware of the circumstances - and it was in fact their cost-savings decision that allowed us to continue licensing the image, not a less-than-ethical decision made by Ms. Mulder. Regardless, it is a gorgeous image and I'm thrilled to see it used in the context of an album cover."

How should this be integrated into the article, if at all? cipherswarm (talk) 00:25, 7 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
