History[edit]

Unfortunately, large part of the history section is false... According to the memoirs of Roman Wilczyński – one of the founders - Wisła was formed in the spring of 1906. It was professor Tadeusz Łopuszański who gave the idea of organizing the club. Neither “Szkolnikowski’s Team” nor “The Blues” were used as club’s name – it was Wisła from the very beginning. The phrase “the members of the Blues came up with the name Wisla to call their new association” is therefore absurd. Nor is it true that after the merger in 1907 jerseys “bore 2 blue stars in order to show that the team was created from the fusion of 2 others”. There were two blue stars on the jerseys of Jenker team already before the merger, so it had nothing to do with the fusion. 109.108.163.154 (talk) 23:15, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the whole section as it was unreferenced since the very long time. Feel free to make any further edits, but remember to add references.--Oleola (talk) 23:59, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect syntax?[edit]

The most successive club players were: M. Balcer, K. Budka, R. Budka, M. Gracz, A. Iwan, J. Jałocha, M. Jałocha, J. Jurowicz, Z. Kapka, W.

Is this perhaps meant to be "the most successful club players" instead of "successive"? Is the statement meant to indicate that these are the best-performing club players? If so, it should be "successful". Longshot14 19:10, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey[edit]

Who wrote that history? Man, I think you can't really make out what the guy wanted to say! I'm gonna fix that as soon as I can, I think my Wisła Kraków diserves a better site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.77.218.84 (talk) 21:11, 24 April 2006
