Not only that, but the information is also not uptodate anymore. (valfar is dead.) I'll look into it someday. --Soyweiser 18:01, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
It appears these concerns have now been appropriately addressed and remedied. __meco (talk) 13:41, 3 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sognamål[edit]

"Windir's lyrics are not written in contemporary Norwegian but instead in an ancient local dialect named Sognamål." This sentence is dubious, sognamål is`n ancient, it is the dialect spoken by people living in Sogn today..--Njård 09:17, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Genre[edit]

Y hay thar, I was listening to Windir, and it crossed my mind that they may be a melodic black metal band... JackorKnave (talk) 17:54, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Alleged influence on Drudkh[edit]

The citation for this is allmusic, which doesn't cite its own source. Drudkh have not given interviews, so this claim is supposition. Even if Windir influenced Hate Forest and it was mentioned in an interview with that band, it does not follow that Windir influenced Drudkh even though they share members because they are different projects. Perceived musical similarities matter for naught in this regard as they are too open to confirmation bias. Furthermore, if one is impudent enough to imply the influence came from Windir using cultural angles on their art it still doesn't follow due to the prevalence of exploration of one's heritage within a large number of black metal acts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.125.223.206 (talk) 16:35, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
