See WP:NN - if she has an article, she generally qualifies for inclusion. If not, not. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 04:38, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, so how does she get a article? what are the standards? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.46.89 (talkcontribs) 09:18, May 24, 2009
The usual: Wikipedia:Notability and Wikipedia:Reliable sources Tedickey (talk) 13:39, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Plus you need to be a registered user to start an article. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:32, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok its me again....so I have a question "The racial makeup of the borough was 99.29% White, 0.07% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.16% from other races, and 0.36% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.57% of the population." now we have 99.29% white, plus we add .09 for Native Americans, that brings us to 99.38...then we add .02 for asian, that brings us to 99.4, then we add .16 for pacific islander, that brings us to 99.56, then we add .36 from two or more races...that brings us to 99.92..then we add .57 for hispanic or latino of any race...and we end up at 100.49? do those not count in the percentage...and if not....then after we get to 99.92, what is the rest of the .08....is it just a case of rounded numbers?

Probably rounded numbers. Dincher (talk) 16:32, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the information regarding Johnny Weissmuller from "raised" in Windber to lived here a few years. His connection to windber is based on a fraudulent claim that he was born here so he could compete in the Olympics as a American. Nor was he really raised in Windber, because his family came here when he was a baby in 1905, by 1910 they had moved to Chicago. In no way does that count as being "raised" in Windber. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.46.89 (talk) 06:54, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Polish Falcons edits[edit]

While I know the nest exists, there is no mention in the article of the Polish Falcons nest in Windber. I have no idea who the person who supposedly saved it is, but they need to meet WP:NN and there needs to be a reference to a relaible source for the rescue. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 04:38, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

that is the offical polish falcons webpage that has a listing of the sites..windber is one of them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.46.89 (talk) 04:51, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
