– He was not mainly notable for two cricket matches he played as a university student. "(priest)" is unsuitable as a disambiguator because father and son were both priests. LookLook36 (talk) 00:39, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Move to William Inge (priest, born 1829) and William Inge (priest, born 1860). Most notable as a priest, but I think the years are better disambiguators than Provost or Dean, as readers are less likely to know which is which (as it's the sort of thing many people would be looking on Wikipedia to learn about, rather than already know).
