Did an overhaul of the article, broke it up in sections, added backets where needed and citation tags where references may be needed. Subsections may require new names and list of awards should be broken up into a table, or preferrably, a list format with a Award and Year listed. --Ozgod 04:24, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! You might see also Roger E. Combs, Peter D. Williams, Tony L. Cothron. JPatrickBedell 04:59, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You just love throwing work at me don't you? This is what keeps me up at night. Will peruse the articles and clean up where/how I can. If you can please include references and citations where/if I post any or where you see they are needed. --Ozgod 06:23, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedit[edit]

Clean up and copyedit. Removed overlinking of dates - years and months (see MOS). Also, rm the citation needed tags. All of the facts in question are directly from the main reference in the Reference section — which is the Official USMC bio. The original article was a copy and paste of this article (which does not violate copyright, as it is public domain). — ERcheck (talk) 01:41, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I rated this article as a Start. It needs more references and citations. --Ozgod 04:03, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
